When, how and why did you get started with us? We arrived in Perth from Belfast on July 21 and after 5 months of coffee's with cinnamon rolls, and sausage sizzles at every event, I thought I'd better start doing some training again. I'd tried other gyms but loved how the friendly competitive spirit pushed you on in this place to go faster or get 1 more rep done. I started in December and was addicted by the Open! What would be your dream workout? I love learning all the gymnastic stuff, and I have a soft spot for Murph but I'm probably best at burpees and running so... A workout like Bert might be good - never done it mind... What workout would you want to avoid? I'm up for trying to improve but double unders and the snatch are definite weaknesses Favourite Crossfit Athlete? Emma McQuaid always does pretty well in the Games and she lives down the road from me in Northern Ireland. Not the biggest person but seems to have the heart of a lion. What's the best thing you own that costs under $100? Probably sunglasses as I lose so many pairs that it's best I don't spend more on them! Biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made? Probably not a single item of clothing as it's all pretty standard stuff but for a time between 10 years old and 19 I probably would have had a Monday outfit, a Tuesday outfit, a Wednesday outfit etc etc..

Favourite quote? I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfilment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious. - Vince Lombardi. Always loved that one.

What's your fav 90s jam? Meatloaf - I would do anything for love 7.41 seconds of rip-roaring emotion! What was the last thing you watched on TV? Just finished Ozark, great viewing The funniest thing that happened to you recently? Getting locked in a waterpark (Outback Splash). Having to escape with my wife and 2 crying kids an hour after closing time...despite setting off numerous alarms, no-one came to our rescue and we had to scale the 12foot fence to get out of there. Most used emoji? Nothing too exciting here, 😉 If you could have one other CrossFit Claremont member body part, what would it be?

Ryan's mullet or Nate's quads cos they come with dancing feet.
