When, how and why did you get started with us?
My partner Rachael and I moved to Perth from The Netherlands for my work in July 2019 and ended up in Crawley. Before the move I was a member of a CrossFit gym in The Netherlands and I was keen to get back into it. Not long after the move I joined Crossfit Claremont in October 2019.
What would be your dream workout?
Any workout with deadlifts, cleans or sled push/pull. Also don’t mind the rower, bike, ski and the occasional run.
What workout would you want to avoid?
One with too much overhead lifting and rig work.
Favourite Crossfit Athlete? (doesn't have to be someone famous)
Khan Porter or Pat Vellner.
What's the best thing you own that cost under $100?
I would have to go with a 50 Euro jumper that I bought back in 2014. It has travelled all over the world and is still going strong and as good as new.
Biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made?
Rocking bootcut jeans in the early zeroes.

What's your fav 90s jam?
Too much to choose from. Anything with guitars from the 90s generally makes it to my playlist. But if we're talking about my favourite jam, I would go with Montell Jordan - This Is How We Do It.
Last thing you watched on TV?
We are working our way through The Manifest at the moment.
Funniest thing that happened to you recently?
Ripped my denim shorts demonstrating proper squat form.

Anyone with some decent size calf muscles will do.
