When, how and why did you get started with us? When I moved over from Sydney to Perth about 2 years ago I trialled a few CrossFit gyms in Perth. Claremont stood out from the rest as one of my first classes had a 1RM squat test and I can distinctly remember Kat and Hannah squatting more than me and thinking that was a pretty good indicator of the calibre of the gym. Seeing some of the units that train and get after it at CFC keeps me coming back. What would be your dream workout? A good long partner chipper workout– barbell thrusters, dubs, C2B, burpees, HSPU. What workout would you want to avoid? Anything with double dumbbell thrusters – no thanks. Devils press can also swivel. Favourite Crossfit Athlete? Unoriginally and predictably – Rich Froning. What's the best thing you own that costs under $100? My Lumie sunrise alarm clock – makes waking up slightly less brutal. Biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made? A Geri Halliwell-themed Union flag dress with no shorts. Favourite quote? “Heard about the guy who fell off a skyscraper? On his way down past each floor, he kept saying to reassure himself: So far so good... so far so good... so far so good. How you fall doesn't matter. It's how you land! What's your fav 90s jam? S&M – Metallica Last thing you watched on TV? Fleabag – very underrated imo. The funniest thing that happened to you recently? Got food poisoning in Bali recently and woke up to find I’d shat the bed. If you can’t laugh at yourself…… Most used emoji? Smiley face emoji. I’m rarely in a bad mood. If you could have one other CrossFit Claremont member body part, what would it be? Whatever body part Wacey uses to do muscle ups – it’s missing from my anatomy.
