When, how and why did you get started with us? Joined the gym in June 2016 when I came over to Perth to start my undergraduate studies. I lived at UWA’s University Hall back at the time and all the transport I had then was my bicycle. Started off here for the convenience of a 10-minute cycle from where I lived but continued staying on cause of the lovely community and coaching :) What would be your dream workout? Deadlifts or dumbbell snatches paired with handstand push-ups and toes to bar for time! What workout would you want to avoid? A workout that has echo bikes paired with any sort of heavy carries (sandbag, farmers carry) that involves long distances or box step ups/overs. Favourite Crossfit Athlete? Noah Ohlsen for finally making the Games in 2019 interesting to watch! What's the best thing you own that cost under $100? The second-hand barbell my housemate and I got during the first covid lockdown in 2020. It actually costs exactly $100 but I thought it was the best deal ever at that time. Biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made? Letting my dad cut my hair once in secondary school- was the worse idea ever. . Favourite quote? Lift, Laugh, Love.
What's your favourite 90s jam? I Want It That Way- Backstreet Boys.
Last thing you watched on TV? Love and monsters on Netflix.
The funniest thing that happened to you recently? Not realising I was carrying 2 supermarket baskets stuck together until the bottom basket suddenly dropped out while I was walking around at Coles. Was pretty dumb but I was sheepishly laughing at how ridiculous it was haha. Most used emoji? ❤️ - the emoji that has been sustaining my long-distance relationship.
If you could have one other CrossFit Claremont members body part, what would it be?
Honestly, anyone’s calves cause they’re probably bigger than mine :’-)
