As you would have seen in previous emails and posts next Saturday the 3rd of July we are having dual community events. In the morning we will be having our fourth installment of the Key Party!
What the key party entails is everyone who wants to compete enters the competition via the signup form at the front desk. This year in the key party we will just be having one category! This category will be inclusive, however, if you need modification options they will be provided. This is to also reiterate this is a social and fun competition. Wednesday the 30th pairs (M/M & F/F) will be drawn out of hat and you will now have your partner for Saturday. The day will kick off at 7.30 and end around noon. If you would like to be involved with the Key Party but don't want to participate we can always use volunteers :)
In the evening we will be having a games night! Get together a team of 8 people for an evening of skill testing, team work and improvisation! Once again you can register your team at the front desk. The evening will begin from 6.45pm. BYO your own drinks and snacks. Many of the games will require elite levels of agility and movement, so wear comfortable clothing that allow movement.
We are looking at holding an auction again so if you have an item or a personal service you would like to donate that would be great. Last auction we had some great items such as Nate's hair, some Ponting wine, a golf lesson with Toby, an hour of Jason's time (voucher since expired). Anyone coming please download the "Kahoot!" app. Entry for each event will be $10 cash to be paid on the day of the event which is going to be evenly split between people affected by the bushfires and also those affected by the cyclone up north. Please register ASAP so we can better plan the events. Rego for the Key Party will close Wednesday morning as the teams will be drawn that day.
