KEY PARTY 6 WORKOUT DETAILS AND HEATS

Ok crew, here are the workouts and the heats/judging heats. If you have any questions about modifications please email jason@crossfitclaremont.com.au by tomorrow. I would like to have all changes done before the day so we can just roll through. If I haven't spoken to you directly then there will be no changes to the workout.


Event 1 begins at 7.20am. If you aren't there to judge/compete your team receives a zero. When judging, you judge your corresponding number.


EVENT 1: "Burpee Beep" - 7.20am

The clock will be set to 99 intervals going every 4 seconds. Partner one will complete one burpee every 4 seconds on the clock beep until they can no longer. Once partner 1 misses a burpee - partner 2 comes in on the next interval and continues on. The workout ends when the second partner can no longer keep the tempo. Your score will be the total number of successful intervals completed. In the case of multiple teams finishing all 99 burpees: there will be a 1 minute max effort tie break.

EVENT 2 & 3: "Tall Poppy, Part A & B" (approx 7.50am)

These are 2 scored events that are completed back to back. Part A will be 7 minutes for both partners to complete a 1RM Ground to overhead. The score will be total kilos. There will be a 3-minute rest before Part B.


In Part B your bar will be loaded to 35% of the total of Part 1. So for example: 130 + 80kg = 210kg. 210 x .35 = 74kg. So the barbell will be 74kg. There will then be a 4 minute AMRAP of max Ground to Overhead with that weight. Reps can be broken up between the pair as you like. The score will be total reps.

EVENT 4: "Moving House" (approx 9.20am)

Drive (50/35 Cal Echo)

Unpack

Drive (50/35 Cal Echo)


In the pack and unpack equipment will need to be moved across the room. This can be done with both partners working at the same time. One person at a time will be on the Echo Bike. You cannot begin on the Bike until the packing has been done correctly. Your time is when the second Echo Bike has been completed.

EVENT 5: "It Aint Rude" (approx 10am)

EVENT 6: "Jackies" (approx 10.30am)

100 Thrusters (20/15kg)

50 Pull Ups


One person working at a time, broken up as you like. The score is the total time. 20 min time cap.

EVENT 7: "THIRSTY WORK" (approx 11.20am)

20 Toes to Bar


Partner one begins and once they have completed their last Toes to Bar tags partner 2. The workout ends when partner 2 completes their last toes to bar. *12 min time cap.
