Our second member of the month is Fran. The hardest thing about Coaching Fran is making sure she doesn't work too hard as she loves to push herself and will sneak in some extra work or add a little more weight if you're not looking. She's in her 70's and can do pull ups, has great range of motion, works extremely hard and most impressively isn't afraid to try anything. She's out Deadlift her daughter (and half the females in the Gym) before and for her age and weight isn't far from some world records in rowing!
She's in amazing shape and anyone that is in a class with her definitely hopes to be looking and performing like her as they get older. You're an inspiration Fran!
When, how and why did you get started with us? My daughter Vanessa ..approx 7 years ago.
What would be your dream workout? Pull ups, rowing and dead lifts.
What workout would you want to avoid? Bar work over my head and the bike.
Favourite Crossfit Athlete? Guy.
What's the best thing you own that cost under $100? My garden leaf blower…(actually cost more than $100…but I love it.)
Biggest fashion mistake you’ve ever made? Letting my sister in law cut my long hair really, really short and ruining it…..in the 1970’s.
Favourite quote? What you put into life is what you get back.

Funniest thing that happened to you recently? We live over the road from Claremont and I left my car at Bunnings car park after Crossfit… I walked home and later in the day I went into our garage and thought my car had been stolen.
